April Thompson, Design Specialist 

My passion for interior design and decorating stems from my childhood where I often used my dollhouse to create beautiful rooms. I chose a different path though, and became a mental health therapist which I have managed my own practice for over 12 years. I am now at a phase where I would like to revisit my passions and creative eye in the field of interior design. Upon completion of the program at Interior Design Institute, I have gained many skills, such as: visual language of design and elements, spatial planning, interior finishes, textiles, color palate/paint schedules. and visual boards.
